| Overview | What is Inspice Lost and Found Manager? Inspice Lost and Found Manager is a a web based application that manages lost and found items and provides automated customer service over the Internet. See also: Inspice Lost and Found Manager overview. How do I go to an item information page? Click on List by date link and click on an item name that you wish to see detail. If you know the item number, enter www.inspice.com/item####. IMPORTANT: Replace ### sign with the actual item number. Click on Add found item link in Inspice Lost and Found Manager. Enter item description and press 'Report' button. Go to an item information page of an item you wish to update. See how to go to item information page.
Go to an item information page of an item you wish to delete, and click on delete link at the bottom of an item information page. How do I see disposable items? Under My Inventory section, click on List for disposal link. How do I know if my customers report a lost item? You will be able to see all lost items reported by your customers under Lost Report section. How do I know when my customer claims? If your customer place a claim on the item. You will be informed with the following information: 1) claimant, 2) claimed item, 3) additional description of distinctive features of the item by the claimant, 4) pickup preferred date. The claim is subject to your verification or your business policy. If you accept the claim as valid, you may release the item to the customer upon his/her visit to your office. Should you trust the claimant and release the item under your custody upon claiming the ownership? It would be easier for you to make a such decision if you know that the claimant can produce some detail or distinctive feature of the item, or associated information, e.g the lost location and date.
