LG Trackable USB flash drives

LG Electronics trackable USB flash drives provide additional protection for the data stored in the drive. The LG trackable USB flash drives have built-in tracking and data destruction features, which allow owners to locate stolen or lost device and destroy data in it. The LG trackable USB flash drives are currently available for some limited market places.

The trackable USB flash drives embed a stolen/lost device location tracking software called Inspice Trace, which determines the device location and sends the location information directly to an owner's email address. In addition, it lets the owner remotely destroy sensitive data in the stolen/lost device to protect the data.

In order to protect privacy of the trackable USB flash drive owners, unique and innovative privacy-safe tracking technology is being used. The privacy-safe tracking technology traces location of devices without using any monitoring servers (or hosts). To ensure owner's privacy, owner's personally identifying information is never collected.

Minimum requirements: Inspice Trace works on the following system environment: 90-megahertz (MHz) Intel Pentium or compatible processor,16 megabytes memory, Windows 98 second edition, ME, 2000, XP, 2003, NT operating system.
