Please do not send
money and do not respond to people who claims to have your lost item and ask
you to send money first. They are scammers who try to steal your money and identity.
It is not difficult to identify scammers because they commonly:
- can not describe your item accurately and
- ask you to send money before you receive your lost/stolen item.
In addition, scammers prefer to receive money into an overseas bank account such
Western Union in Nigeria or Netherlands. (African countries, especially Nigeria,
are the countries from which most scammers reside.)
Please be aware of a scammer's lie in which he/she can not describe your item because
he/she already passed your lost item to Inspice. Inspice never accepts any lost or found
items- no exceptions.
They may be very skillful in telling you a convincing lie (an excuse) why they can not
describe your lost or stolen item. No matter how convincing the lie sounds, you should not
send money to the scammer.
